Federal construction succeeds or fails in execution. Most of the cost and schedule risk on a firm-fixed-price contract sits between Notice to Proceed and final acceptance. That is where we work.
UFGS Division 01, EM 385-1-1, the UFC criteria and the contract clauses are not reference material for us — they are how the job runs day to day. We set up the project the way the Resident Office and the Contracting Officer expect to see it, so the government's QA finds a system that already works.
On an FFP contract every rejected submittal, failed inspection and unmanaged change comes out of the contractor's margin. We protect it: early identification of differing site conditions and changed work, properly documented REAs, and time-impact analyses built on fragnets the government can verify.
We manage the day-to-day relationship with the KO, the COR, the Resident and Project Engineers and the QA representatives — RFIs, transmittals, schedule updates, pay estimates and meeting minutes — clear, complete and on time.
Turnover is not a phase at the end; it is a set of deliverables that start at mobilization. As-builts, O&M data, warranties and DD Form 1354 are tracked from the first submittal, so the government reaches beneficial occupancy on schedule and the team earns the CPARS rating that wins the next award.

Our founders bring extensive hands-on experience delivering projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Navy — from proposal through design, construction and facility turnover. They have sat in the preconstruction conferences, run the QC programs, defended the schedules and closed out the contracts.
We founded WDI America to bring that experience to every federal project we join: as a project manager, as a teaming partner, or as a member of a joint venture.
